Think Secret is reporting that the next generation in iMacs might be coming sooner than anyone had hoped- on August 7th.
There have been a lot of rumors connected to the new iMacs, the most popular of which is that it will be in brushed metal (aluminum, to be exact) and will be only two inches thick. iDrool.

No, we haven’t got one- yet. But like most Mac users, the last week has been all about the mighty iPhone. Here are our favourite links so far:
John Gruber’s First Impressions are, as always, straightforward and simple. If you read only one iPhone review, let it be this one.
Think Secret takes apart the iPhone and creates a whole gallery that’ll make you feel like you’re almost there. Almost.
Derek Powazek’s Review is another good one- and his photos are excellent- but of course.
Like lists? PC World’s 10 Things Apple Did Right and Wrong is a quick read.
And finally, MacWorld’s The iPod that’s really a phone asks how the iPhone is like Apple’s music player—and how it isn’t. This should help those of you who’ve asked the burning question Should I ditch my iPod for an iPhone? (the answer, for now, is no).

Arriving this week: my brand spanking new White Macbook 2.16GHz Intel Core 2 Duo with 2GB memory, 120GB hard drive, Double-layer SuperDrive. I’m so excited!

Are you confused about the Apple vs Beatles thing too? Here’s the latest: Apple Inc (that’s computer) and The Beatles’ Apple Corps announced today their new agreement regarding the use of the name Apple and apple logos:

When it comes to desktop screens, bigger is definitely better. Amidst all the buzz about a 23-inch iMac debuting on September 12th, Apple goes ahead and releases a 24-inch iMac. Heh.
